Welcome to Get Clued up
This website is here to give you easy access to all the information you will need for your school or college to run the award winning Get Clued Up programme.
It is designed to raise awareness of the dangers of drug driving among pre-drivers, novice drivers and their passengers.
According to the latest Crime Survey for England and Wales, taken from 26,663 young people, almost one in five 16-24 year olds have used an illicit drug in the last year.
Further research from the same source and published by the Department for Transport (DfT) in 2010-11, shows that 19% of this group reported driving at least once within twelve months after taking drugs.
Get Clued Up is all about helping your students - as young drivers and passengers - make safer choices now and in the future.
We need your help to do this.
Please run this short 45 minute programme in your school or college and help make a difference.
It has been awarded the National PSHE Association Quality Mark so you can be confident that it is a quality resource which meets the highest standards for PSHE.
We hope you find it useful and look forward to receiving your evaluation forms once you have run the programme.
